Description: The Supermarine S6B racing seaplane S1595 comes in to land beside the monitor HMS Medea. The pilot, Flight Lieutenant Boothman, comes on board to the applause of the crew, and talks with the team captain, Squadron Leader Orlebar. Then the second flight, in which Flight Lieutenant Stainforth sets a new world air speed record at 378mph. He brings the seaplane in to land, gets out at the water's edge and comes up onto the land to talk with his wife and the press. Stainforth, Boothman and Orlebar pose together for the cameras.
